JR Ng is the founder and managing partner of JR Ng & Chin (JC Law). He has extensive experience in the practice areas of real estate, banking and finance. He is actively involved in disposal, acquisition and lease transactions for both residential and commercial properties on behalf of individuals and corporations.
Besides, he also deals with civil litigation specializing in family law, administration of estate of deceased persons, including but not limited to preparing petitions to the High Court for the issuance of the grant of probate and letter of administration, rendering advice to executors and administrators of estate pertaining to their duties in law and facilitating the distribution of assets to beneficiaries.
JR Ng also advises clients on general corporate and commercial as well as regulatory matters. He speaks frequently at seminars and talks and writes articles to educate business owners on legal related matters.

Gavie is the co-founder and co-managing partner of JC Law.
As a corporate and commercial lawyer, Gavie has considerable experience in providing compliance and advisory work for local clients on the laws and regulations in relation to corporate finance and securities. Gavie has acted as legal advisor and due diligence solicitor in initial public offerings and listing of companies (IPO) on the Malaysian and Hong Kong stock exchanges, as well as secondary equity raisings (such as bonus issues, placements, rights issue and many more) on the Malaysian stock exchange. He also offers advisory and consultation services on a retainer basis to small-medium enterprises and corporations.
Gavie has also been involved in transactional work which includes, the drafting and reviewing of both shares and assets acquisition and divestment agreements, shareholders’ agreements, subscription agreements, joint development agreements, memorandum of understanding, settlement agreements, legal due diligence review reports, due diligence planning memorandum, verification notes, and corporate secretarial documents such as board resolutions and meeting minutes.
Gavie also has experiences in full range of real estate and property related transactions including property acquisitions and divestments, loan documentation, sale and leaseback, joint venture and commercial leasing transactions. Gavie’s practice also extends to advising on real estate and mergers & acquisitions related tax planning, submitting stamp duty relief applications to Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia.

Raymond is a dispute resolution lawyer with a focus on the areas on construction and strata management.
Raymond has been advising and representing employers, developers, main contractors, sub-contractors on all construction law related issues and/or disputes including but not limited to payments, delays, variations in the form of additions, substitutions or omissions, defects, LAD etc.
Apart from construction and strata management related matters, Raymond has a keen interest on fraud and asset recovery related matters. Raymond also involved in matters such as breach of contract, defamation, single divorce petition etc.
Raymond was also appointed as a committee member of Publications Committee of the Kuala Lumpur Bar for the term of 2019/2020.

Joshua has a broad range of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, commercial, banking and finance, real estate and litigation works.
Joshua has advised and acted in matters pertaining to corporate regulatory and compliance, conducting due diligence reviews on companies, listing of companies on Bursa Malaysia via initial public offering, employees’ share scheme, bonus issues, private placement and many others.

Crystal Tan is a litigator with experience across a wide range of practice areas including commercial, civil and tenancy disputes, with specialisation in banking and finance litigation.
Crystal Tan regularly handles disputes at all tiers of Malaysian courts for trials, appeals and interlocutory applications, including for stay applications, enforcement proceedings as well as contempt proceedings.
She has also been involved in family law and matrimonial disputes including divorce (joint & single divorce petition), division of marital property, child custody and support, maintenance payment, preparing petitions to the High Court for the issuance of the grant of probate and letter of administration.
Her areas of practice also involve conveyancing matters, including sale and purchase agreement, banking documentation, drafting of wills and corporate matters, which includes but not limited to shareholders agreements and joint ventures agreements.
